When I think of creativity and resourcefulness one friend in particular springs to mind. She is a designer, a creator, a photographer, a blogger, the person behind the beautiful accessories and homewares label Blossom & Cat, and the craft editor for ‘tickle the imagination’ magazine. Her name is Helen and I’m excited to share her latest contribution to the magazine with you.
If you are familiar with ‘tickle the imagination’ you already know how special the publication is. It is designed and published in Australia and impressively printed on 100% recycled paper stock.
For those of you who don’t know ‘tickle the imagination’ is published quarterly and celebrates the handmade and creative community in Australia. It aims to inspire creativity, showcasing talented designers and makers, discovering emerging talent and sharing real-life stories along with heaps of direction for those who want to be hands-on and create something special.
The winter issue is out now and packed with lovely stories and inspiration from the Frida Kahlo children’s fashion shoot to soap making, design boards showcasing favourite Australian designers and a divine chocolate fudge brownie recipe. It also features Scandinavian styling tips for a beautiful babies nursery, natural remedies for staying healthy during the winter months, beautiful styling and products, and of course step by step easy to follow instructions on how to make Helen’s gorgeous cushions.
